NEW 2017 Salomon S-Lab trail running shoes
Salomon S-Lab Sense 6
First and foremost we should begin with the most iconic shoe in the Salomon S-Lab range, the Salomon S-Lab Sense 6. Designed with and for athletes the Sense 6 is a fast and responsive trail running shoe. They have a 4mm offset from heel to toe and weigh 220 grams, these features are unchanged from the Sense 5. Although they are a very light shoe they still provide a good amount of foot protection thanks to the Profeel Film that is built into the midsole. The tread design has been updated and improved by re-positioning and re-shaping the lugs. The uppers of the S-Lab Sense 6 are even more breathable than Sense 5 through the use of a new mesh design. This has also improved drainage on a shoe that already had impressive drainage.
Salomon S-Lab Sense Ultra trail running shoes
The S-Lab Sense Ultra is a completely new model in the Salomon S-Lab range. It is developed for long distance trail running or for anybody who prefers a more stable and cushioned trail running shoe. They have a 9mm offset from heel to toe and weigh 275 grams. The midsole has more cushioning than any other S-Lab model and also features a mild rocker profile. They have a dual-density arch support that will suit neutral and pronated foot types. These features combined enable the S-Lab Sense Ultra to protect your feet and preserve energy during long runs. The tread design is very versatile and will provide plenty of grip in all conditions.
