My Ski Boot fitting experience began nearly 20 years ago, working at a ski shop in Melbourne. In those early days I learnt what I could from the shop owner and then equally as much from listening to my customers. After attending the inaugural Masterfit Ski Boot fitting Seminar in the late 90’s, and impressing Masterfit Lecturer Bob Gleeson with my keen eye, I was invited to work at Bob’s Telluride Colorado ski boot shop called The Boot Doctors. Regarded as one of North Americas leading ski boot fitting shops I took onboard many of their ski boot fitting philosophies and began shaping my own approach to fitting ski boots.
After that season, and another Winter back in Melbourne, an offer to work at one of Europe’s most innovative ski boot fitting shops called Profeet was too good to refuse. Located in London, Profeet was innovative and had a very progressive approach to ski boot fitting, and under the guidance of Hamish Wolfenden (podiatrist and ski boot fitting genius) my passion for ski boot fitting and biomechanics flourished. Several years and thousands of feet later I returned to Melbourne to open Footpro in 2009.
The years of experience that I had working with North American and Europe’s best ski boot fitters has helped shaped what we do at Footpro. Knowledge and experience is the key, combined with the technology we use, provides a level of ski boot fitting excellence that is now tried and tested.
